Amanda R. Lukof, MD

Dr. Lukof achieved her life-long dream of becoming a physician when she graduated with honors from Drexel University College of Medicine. She then completed both internship and residency at Thomas Jefferson University Hospital in Anesthesiology and Critical Care. During this time she also worked at Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia (CHOP) and Nemours AI DuPont (Delaware), where she developed a passion for pediatric care. She then completed her fellowship in pediatric anesthesiology at Children’s Hospital Los Angeles (CHLA).

 

Dr. Lukof has always been interested in developing her administrative abilities. During her fellowship year, she completed an intensive leadership course and served as administrative chief. She then went to work for North American Partners in Anesthesia, where she was early on selected to participate in their internal leadership development training program, NAPA Select. From there, she served in a variety of roles including director of department education and section chief of pediatrics, and she now serves as Vice-Chair of the department of anesthesiology at her hospital, Monmouth Medical Center in NJ. She also holds a particular interest in Quality improvement and is the quality representative to NAPAs regional Quality and Safety Committee.

 

In addition to her busy clinical work, Dr. Lukof is also a mother to three young children. She has served on medical missions and volunteers with several charity organizations.
