Ehsan Habibpour, MD

Founding Medical Partner

Dr. Habibpour attended one of Iran’s most prestigious medical schools. Afterwards he completed an adult psychiatry residency at the Medical College of Virginia in Richmond and then went on to complete a Child and Adolescent Psychiatry Fellowship at the University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center in Dallas. He has had 12 years of clinical experience treating patient of all ages.

 

Dr. Habibpour has been a clinical assistant professor of psychiatry and behavioral sciences at George Washington University’s Psychiatry Department since 2014 and has been involved in teaching psychiatric residents actively. Dr. Habibpour founded Mclean Counseling Center in 2016 and managed a team of providers from different professional backgrounds. Throughout his practice, he has mastered the practice of judiciously using psychiatric medications in combination with psychotherapeutic interventions. In addition Dr. Habibpour  co-wrote the scholarly paper “The Treatment of Depression in Culturally Diverse Children and Adolescents”, which was later published in the Journal of Child and Adolescent Psychopharmacology.
