Dr. Van Deusen grew up in Utica, New York. He attended Binghamton University where he obtained his Bachelor of Arts in Psychology, and graduated summa cum laude. He then went on to attend the College of Medicine at Upstate Medical University in Syracuse, New York. While there, he became actively involved in otolaryngology research, publishing and presenting research at national conferences. He was inducted into the Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Medical Society and graduated from medical school with honors. From there, he headed south to Nashville, Tennessee and completed his residency training at Vanderbilt University Medical Center in Otolaryngology–Head and Neck Surgery.

 

Since finishing training, Dr. Van Deusen has relocated to the North Atlanta, Georgia suburbs where he practices the full scope of general otolaryngology, with a special interest in sinus disease, environmental allergies, chronic ear disease, and pediatric ear, nose, and throat procedures.
