Transcript

If you are below the age of 45 and have chronic low back pain of unclear cause, you should talk with your primary care doctor for a referral to a rheumatologist for the evaluation. This is a slowly progressive disease and can take up to 10 years from the onset of symptoms to the diagnosis. An early evaluation and diagnosis could help initiate early treatment. This could help decrease joint damage and long-term disability.
