Transcript

A blood clot can manifest itself in several different ways, typically initiating in the legs, but can travel up into the lungs, termed a pulmonary embolism. This is a very serious condition, and we want to make sure that you notify your doctor right away if you have any difficulty with taking deep breaths or acute discomfort in the chest, when doing so. Typically signs of a pulmonary embolism include acute chest pain, especially with deep inspirations.
