Asthma – Curable

So asthma is one of these chronic diseases that is not ever completely curable. Now that doesn’t mean you’re going to be sick your entire life. That simply means that you always carry the disease regardless. Even if you’re someone with mild asthma with almost no symptoms, never needing any medications, never needing any inhalers, your symptoms still can get worse over time. It may be many years before your symptoms progress, but you are still prone to progression of asthma symptoms. So again, just to recap, asthma is not a curable condition, but in most patients, and in fact, in the majority of patients, it’s a condition that is well controlled and can be easily managed, leading to relatively normal quality of life.
