While the medical community has done wonderful things to prevent some of the more serious head and spinal injuries with helmets and other gear that patients can wear, unfortunately, injuries to the brachial plexus have not been well prevented. We don’t have particular gear that a football player can wear or somebody who’s riding a motorcycle to prevent these injuries. People just need to be careful with the type of risks that they’re subjecting themselves to to avoid such injuries.
