Transcript

The most common childhood cancers are some blood cancers called leukemias, brain cancer, a special type of cancer called neuroblastoma, which originates in the nerve cells that surround the adrenal gland, lymphoma, and a tumor called Wilms tumor, which is a childhood kidney tumor. Childhood cancer rates have actually been rising slightly over the last few years, but they still remain overall a success story, with about 85% of kids surviving five years or more when diagnosed with a cancer.
