Transcript

A patient with a complete spinal cord injury in which there is no motor function below the level of injury should seek a reconstructive surgeon by the third to six month after the injury. At that point, they can be followed for additional recovery, but ideally, to reconstruct the hands and arm function within the first year after the injury is the best time.
