Covid-19 – Contact Tracing

Contact tracing could be one of the most important ways to slow the spread of coronavirus. If you test positive for COVID-19, you may be contacted by a contact tracer. They work with the local health district to help identify other people who were in close contact with you in the last several days. We can’t tell if you contracted the virus from these people, or if they may have contracted it from you. In an effort to keep the virus from spreading, the contact tracer will advise isolation and quarantine for certain individuals. No one will assign fault. Please take some time to speak with them. Tracking down unknown cases can help protect your friends and family, but can also help us all get back to normal.
