Dementia- Lifestyle Changes

share

Transcript

Interesting lifestyle factor that has come to light in recent years includes, or is, the Mediterranean style diet. So the Mediterranean style diet is focused on reduced animal fats, increased amounts of fish and fish oils, using olive oil for cooking rather than animal fat, including some nuts, fresh fruits and vegetables. Again, avoiding large, large amounts of red meat. The Mediterranean diet is associated with delays in dementia and potentially has effects on the progression of dementia as well.
