After a painful attack of gout, you might be anxious to know how long a gout attack last. With treatment, your gut attack usually lasts for several days. Without any treatment, your symptoms could last for up to 14 days. In case of untreated gout, you are at risk of having a recurrent similar painful attacks, which could eventually lead to joint damage.
