So gout symptoms can come and go and we call that flares. And these flares can last for some people for days and for weeks. And then you have time in between these flares that you have no disease activity. You have no symptoms. However, even if you don’t have symptoms, you could still have these uric crystals depositing into your joints. So it’s very important to still seek help if you have gout and continue treatment.
