Hi, my name is Dr. Karyn Eilber. I’m a urologist with specialty certification in female pelvic medicine and reconstructive surgery. I chose this specialty because I’m an advocate for women’s health, and especially for the conditions that often are not discussed, such as pelvic floor disorders and women’s sexual dysfunction. I had such a strong desire to treat women that I actually co-founded a company, Glissant, which makes products that are specifically for women’s intimate wellness. I’m the proud mother of three children, none of which are going to go into medicine. I went to medical school at UCLA and also did my residency and fellowship training there as well. I currently practice at Cedars Sinai in Beverly Hills, and I mainly see women for pelvic floor disorders. I became involved in Doctorpedia because I’m a strong advocate that education is power, and I hope that you join me in learning more about yourself and your medical conditions.
