So my name is Lauren Juneja and I’m a medical oncologist and hematologist in Baton Rouge, Louisiana. So I did my medical training at LSU in Shreveport, Louisiana, as well as my medical residency and fellowship in hematology and oncology. In my free time, I enjoy hanging out with my family, we have three little boys. And cooking and taking walks with my kids. In addition, I went into oncology and hematology mostly because I love the innovations that we see in this field. And in addition to that, my mom was actually diagnosed with breast cancer prior to me starting medical school. And that’s actually the reason why I pursued medicine in general and specifically oncology with a passion for breast cancer. I also received a master’s degree at Tulane University in New Orleans in cellular and molecular biology. I hope you enjoyed these videos on Doctorpedia, and I wish you luck in your medical journey.
