Medication – Patient Education

As a rheumatologist, I treat multiple chronic conditions. One of the challenges in managing chronic condition is to have patients take medication for long term. For this, if they are aware of why they are taking medications and why they need to be on this long-term medications, education is very important. Through Doctorpedia, I’m hoping that I can provide some authentic educational tools so that they can learn more about the disease and the need for longer treatment. This will help them adhere to those treatment options for long-term management.
