Hi, my name’s Dr. Carolyn Alexander. I was born and raised in Los Angeles. I went to UCLA for undergrad and medical school. And then I did my OBGYN residency and fellowship in reproductive endocrinology and infertility at John Hopkins hospital in Baltimore. I love my job, helping women think about egg freezing, help them get pregnant with in vitro fertilization, ovulation, and induction options. I also see young women who are skipping their periods, or aren’t getting their periods, with problems with puberty. I also help women when they get older and have questions about menopause and hormonal issues. So my job ranges from young teenage girls to older women, and it’s such a joy taking care of patients going through their journey in their reproductive stages of life. I live in LA now. I work at Southern California reproductive center. We have a fun group of doctors, an amazing group of embryologists. We constantly try to stay on the cutting edge to help our patients get the best success possible. I have two kids and my husband’s also a physician. So we are running around with our large dog Yoda. He’s a komondor so it’s a lot of fun and I love hiking and reading and enjoy time with my family.
