Auto-immune disorders and stress. You may be surprised, but stress is a huge trigger for inflammation in the body for the exacerbation of auto-immune symptoms. And when we’re under conditions of stress, there’s inflammation in our body, our circadian rhythms change, the release of cortisol changes, and that impacts ovarian function. So women under stress and especially conditions of extreme stress over long periods of time are very likely to go into early menopause.
