Bio-identical hormones, the word bio identical, all that means is the same as your body makes. The same as your ovaries, adrenal glands or for that matter, thyroid, makes. So these bio identical hormones do not all need to be compounded. They can be commercially available. There are a lot of commercially available bio identical estrogen replacement therapy products in the form of patches in the form of oral tablets or pills. So it’s not necessary that bio-identical hormones be compounded by a guy in a lab, mixing it up. They are commercially available. And all that it means is that it’s the same as your body makes.
