The most common symptoms that women experience during menopause are hot flashes and night sweats, memory changes, specifically short-term memory changes. They’ll forget where they parked the car or where they put the keys or have difficulty remembering the name of something. Mood changes, irritability and short fused, or weepy and depressed, or a combination of both. Frequently women report symptoms of anxiety and get put on antidepressants, which then make them less anxious, but have no libido and difficulty achieving orgasm. So this is really important why you need to speak to your healthcare provider if you are having symptoms, the goal isn’t to numb you out and block you out, but to treat the fluctuations in your hormones or the rapid decline in your hormones due to menopause. So memory, mood, sleep, sex, weight, those are the most common symptoms and things that are affected during menopause.
