Narcissistic Personality Disorder – Importance of Treatment

Narcissistic personality disorder, out of all the personality disorders, and we divide the personality disorders into cluster A traits, cluster B traits, and cluster C traits. Narcissistic personality disorder is a part of cluster B traits with the antisocial personality disorder and borderline personality disorder and the histrionic personality disorder. Not all of these disorders people actually get treatment. The person with the narcissistic personality disorder, treatment is highly, highly recommended because of the eventual harm that they do to all people around them. And some of the manifestation of the harm that they will see is being underemployed, not having satisfactory relationships, being susceptible to developing a substance use disorder, being susceptible to developing major depressive disorder, and ultimately hurting themselves and others.
