The signs and symptoms of PMS can be largely divided into two groups. Those that are physical and those that are in the emotional realm. For the physical realm, a woman can experience cramping, bloating, or feeling more gassy than usual. And the breasts that feel swollen or tender. Less well known physical symptoms can include things like headache or backache, being more clumsy than usual and being sensitive to light and sounds. The emotional symptoms are generally well-known. Mood swings and a general sense of irritability, tension, anxiety, feelings of depression. They can also include problems with sleep, feeling tired or fatigued, having trouble with memory and either cravings or changes in eating habits. Lastly, they can also be reduced interest in sexual activity. If you notice anything unusual for you, whether in your mood or your bleeding, it’s always a good idea to talk to your OBGYN.
