Radiology Department – CT Scan Results

share

Transcript

Well, what you should expect from a CT scan is to be on a table and have that table go into a machine that's a very large metallic donut. The tests are very quick, so usually it will be a single breath hold. Or if you don't have to hold your breath, then it'll be maybe 10 to 20 seconds actually inside the machine. The machine does make quite a bit of noise, but for the most part, you won't feel anything. It's just medical x-rays. So you won't be able to detect them or see them or smell them or feel them.
