Radiology Department – Preparation for X-ray

share

Transcript

You don’t really do much in terms of preparation for an x-ray. You go in and the technologist will give you all of the instructions at the time of the exam to know what to do. For a relatively simple extremity exam, usually they’ll have the film or detector and you’ll place, say, your hand right against it, or your foot right against it, or it’ll be next to your knee, and the technologist will do all the work positioning you just so that we get just the right images.
