Scabies on the arms and scabies on the legs is common, but there are other key areas where they like to attack or burrow. Scabies causes a very itchy rash. It’s essential to search for burrows carefully in a patient with a severe itch, especially if the rash is mild. Contact should be examined for burrows, whether or not they’re itchy. Scabies burrows appear as 0.5 to 1.5 centimeter gray irregular tracks in the webbed spaces between the fingers, on the palms and wrist.
