The key is to start using an antifungal preparation a few days before the weather gets hot and humid, or before you take a trip. Believe it or not, using an antifungal shampoo with selenium sulfide, such as Selsun Blue, as a body wash for your chest, arms, back, shoulders, and neck, can be a great preventative. Continue using it as a body wash throughout the humid season, or while you are traveling.
