Vasculitis is a group of autoimmune disorders affecting blood vessels. This condition causes inflammation in the blood vessels. This could cause damage to the blood vessels, leading to decreased blood flow to the organ involved. It presents with multiple symptoms. Any part of your body could be involved. The most common being the kidneys, the lungs, skin, nose, ear, eyes, and then the gastrointestinal tract. The symptom of vasculitis varies with the organ involved. Due to its multitude of symptoms, it is occasionally a challenging diagnosis.
