Positioning maneuvers are maneuvers that are utilized to reposition those crystals that can sometimes get knocked loose within the vestibular system and causes patients this brief duration vertigo every time they make a specific movement, for instance, every time they roll to the right, they get this 20 or 32nd bout of vertigo. So because these crystals have rolled into the wrong vestibular canal, there’s maneuvers that can be done that help to move that crystal back to its correct canal and improves the vertigo symptoms.
