Priti Parekh, MD

Priti Parekh, MD, is a Physician, writer, speaker, and a social media influencer who inspires health enthusiasts and people with healthy intentions to live healthier, more vibrant, and increasingly successful lives. She holds an MD. in Internal Medicine from the University of California, San Francisco (UCSF) affiliated Alameda County Medical Center, Oakland. She graduated from one of the top medical schools in India and holds a Bachelor of Medicine and Surgery degree. As a Medical Doctor, over the last 15+ years, she has led her own health clinic, worked for medical organizations such as Kaiser Permanente, and currently working at One Medical Based in the San Francisco Bay Area. Dr. Parekh is a social media influencer, she is the founder of ‘Pretty Healthy with Dr. Priti’ which is an online Digital health platform. She has interviewed some of the most interesting people on the planet on behalf of her patients and followers. About 20,000 fans tune in regularly to learn lifestyle tips on her YouTube channel, Pretty Healthy with Dr. Priti, which has more than 2.3 M views.

She is also a graduate of Whole Health Medicine Institute and has trained at UCSD’s Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction Program. She is a member of American college of Physicians and Obesity Medical Association. She serves on the Dublin Unified School District (DUSD) Wellness Committee in her hometown of Dublin, California.

Mary Leung, MD

Craig Zalvan, MD

Otolaryngology

Craig Zalvan, MD, FACS is presently the Medical Director at the Institute for Voice and Swallowing Disorders and Chief of the Otolaryngology service at Phelps Hospital, Northwell Health where he also serves on the Board of Directors for the hospital.

He is one of the co-directors of the newly created Reflux Institute at Phelps Hospital. He is a Clinical Professor of Otolaryngology at NYMC and lectures internationally and nationally with numerous presentations, publications, and research projects on topics such as: laryngopharyngeal reflux treatment with diet, chronic cough, electromyography, injection laryngoplasty, dysphagia and esophagoscopy, laryngeal sensory testing and many other IRB approved studies. Additionally, Dr. Zalvan is a Professor in the Department of Otolaryngology at the Donald and Barbara Zucker School of Medicine at Hofstra/Northwell.

Dr. Inna Lazar

Optometry

Dr. Lazar obtained her Bachelor of Science Degree in Psychology with a minor in Biology from the University of Pittsburgh and her Doctor of Optometry Degree from the Pennsylvania College of Optometry now known as Salus University. Dr. Lazar’s clinical training includes diagnosis and management of ocular diseases, specialty contact lens fittings, pediatric and geriatric eye exams as well as comprehensive primary eye care.

She received her training at numerous hospitals throughout the United States including The Eye Institute in Philadelphia, the Einstein Hospital in Philadelphia, Ophthalmic Consultants of Connecticut in Fairfiled and Kay, Tabas & Niknam Ophthalmology Associates in Philadelphia. She is a member of the American Optometric Association, American Academy of Optometry as well as Connecticut Optometric Association.

​Dr. Lazar is also able to perform a comprehensive eye exam in multiple languages including Ukrainian and Russian. Dr. Lazar especially enjoys working with children and has participated in the volunteer Head Start program, providing initial screenings and eye exams to the children in Philadelphia.

David Canes, MD

Urology

Dr. Canes is a board-certified fellowship trained Urologist who specializes in cancers of the prostate, kidney, and bladder. He also repairs complex urinary tract injuries and blockages. He is among the most experienced robotic surgeons in the Greater Boston area, having trained other surgeons in the technique both regionally and internationally. He is the Medical Director of Lahey’s New Hampshire satellite clinic at Parkland Medical Center where he also serves as the Director of Robotic Surgery. Dr. Jolly is a board-certified emergency physician who has built his career based on strong clinical training and practice excellence. He received his medical degree from the Wake Forest University School of Medicine in Winston-Salem, NC, completed preliminary surgical training at the University of North Carolina, and then completed emergency medicine training at the combined residency program of George Washington and Georgetown Universities in Washington, DC. His early academic career included leadership positions at the George Washington University, including GW Hospital Associate Trauma Director, Research Director of the Emergency Department, and Vice-Chair of the Institutional Review Board, charged with overseeing clinical research for the Medical Center. He has spoken and delivered local and Congressional testimony with a focus on key issues related to traffic safety and emergency preparedness.

In subsequent years he has held leadership positions in the Department of Homeland Security, including Deputy Chief Medical Officer in the Office of Health Affairs of DHS and Senior Science Advisor in the FEMA National Exercise Division. He has been at the forefront of the advancement of technology in medicine, recently serving as Chief Medical Officer of SOC Telemed, a large national acute care telemedicine provider. He is currently advising the government on technology and response issues related to COVID-19. Throughout the years, he has continued to maintain his active clinical practice and patient care focus at Inova Fairfax Hospital, a major teaching hospital and Level 1 Trauma Center in Falls Church, VA.

In addition to his bedside clinical practice, Dr. Jolly previously provided medical emergency preparedness guidance to the National Football League for eleven Super Bowls. He also continues to provide telemedicine support to the medical services in Yellowstone National Park during the summer season.
