He is a founding member of the Maury Regional Medical Center’s limb salvage program and is medical director of the Maury Regional Medical Wound Center. Though skilled and experienced in the entire specialty Dr. Endara is particularly interested in breast reconstruction including through the use of microsurgical free tissue transfers, limb salvage, abdominal wall reconstruction, body contouring, and cosmetic procedures to rejuvenate the face and breasts. She maintains a panel of End Stage Kidney Disease patients on in-center hemodialysis, home hemodialysis, and peritoneal dialysis, also functioning as a co-medical director for the in-center hemodialysis unit. Dr. James Farrelly was born in New York, NY as the second son of immigrant parents with no physicians in his immediate family. He went to Regis High School in NYC like Dr. Anthony Fauci, and during that time, he played drums in a band called “Mackin Pulsifer” with a girl who would go on to become mildly more famous several years later under the name “Lady Gaga.”

Though he studied music as a major in college, he had always maintained a passion for scientific inquiry, medicine, and knowledge about the human body. Before starting medical school, James took his first job in biomedical research coordinating prostate cancer clinical trials. He went on to excel in medical school and was inducted into the Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Medical Society. He lived out a dream when he completed a surgical residency and surgical critical care fellowship at an ivy league program in New Haven, CT. He obtained a Master of Health Science (MHS) degree and completed a pediatric surgery research fellowship along the way. His various research interests have ranged from perioperative system optimization to basic science investigations into minimally invasive intra-amniotic DNA-editing therapies for single-gene diseases and bioengineered nano- and microparticle therapies for spina bifida (a devastating congenital spinal deformity).

He practices now as a Trauma and Acute Care general surgeon at a busy inner-city hospital in New England and holds an appointment as Assistant Professor of Surgery at a well-known New England medical school. In his current role, he takes care of a wide range of surgical diseases including anything from life-threatening diagnoses like gunshot wounds and catastrophic abdominal sepsis to more common diagnoses like appendicitis, hernias, and gallbladder disease.

Dr. Farrelly’s areas of interest within Trauma and Acute Care (General) Surgery are many but include topics such as hospital system efficiency, perioperative system optimization and lean instrument/inventory management, venous thromboembolism prophylaxis, minimally invasive emergency general surgery, and surgical care of critically injured and/or critically ill patients.

Dr. Nastaran Foyouzi holds board certifications in Reproductive Endocrinology and Medical Genetics from the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology (ABOG) and the American Board of Medical Genetics and Genomics (ABMGG). She completed her internship in Obstetrics and Gynecology at Yale University, followed by her residency at Washington University in St. Louis. Subsequently, she pursued a fellowship in Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility (REI) at the University of California in San Francisco. Following the completion of her fellowship, Dr. Foyouzi joined the faculty of the University of Michigan as a WRHR Scholar, funded by the NIH. In 2015, she decided to expand her expertise in REI by pursuing training in medical genetics. She completed her fellowship in Medical Genetics at UCLA, where she provided care to patients with various genetic conditions. Foyouzi is among a select group of reproductive endocrinologists in the United States who possess extensive knowledge and training in medical genetics. Dr Steven Gange graduated from the UCLA School of Medicine in 1986 and then completed Urology training at the University of Kentucky in 1991. He served in the US Army from 1991-1996 as a teaching urologist, fulfilling an ROTC obligation. He joined Western Urological Clinic in Salt Lake City in 1996, now Summit Urology Group, where he is Director of Research and Education. Since FDA-approval he has successfully performed nearly 900 UroLift in-office procedures using his refined local anesthetic technique and has taught UroLift to hundreds of fellow urologists across the US and in Canada, as well as to urologists in a dozen other countries virtually. He has also lectured on BPH and UroLift at numerous meetings and has co-authored 10 of the pivotal UroLift papers, including a review paper on emerging BPH technologies. Additionally, he performed the first Rezum procedure in North America and was lead-enroller in NxThera’s RCT. Dr Gange was also the first urologist in the Intermountain West to perform Sonablate HIFU for prostate cancer in 2009 and continues to offer this minimally invasive option to his patients.

In addition, I have experience in surgery for tennis elbow and bicep tendon injuries.”

Dr. Goumas grew up in a factory town in Ansonia, Connecticut, outside of Bridgeport and he takes pride in making all of his patients feel comfortable: “Being a doctor was really unheard of from where I grew up. Dr. Yehuda Herschman graduated from Yeshiva University in New York City with a Bachelor of Arts in Music in 2009.  From there he matriculated and completed his medical school studies at Chicago Medical School of Rosalind Franklin University, graduating in 2013.  He then completed his internship and residency in Neurological Surgery at Rutgers University in New Jersey in 2020.  He was afforded a unique opportunity to complete an enfolded clinical and research fellowship in Functional and Stereotactic Neurosurgery at Hadassah University Medical Center in Jerusalem Israel in 2018.  There he worked with some of the world's most respected leaders in movement disorders, Dr. Hagai Bergman and Dr. Zvi Israel.  This work encompassed clinical work, clinical research, and primate research.

Dr Hein-Peters is a global expert in getting access to new treatments and vaccines through connecting healthcare decision makers, doctors and patients and supporting their decisions by scientific evidence. She has held several leadership positions in companies where she worked, usually with colleagues around the world. Her deep belief is that innovation in healthcare only matters if patients have access to it, as the medication doesn’t work if barriers exist preventing its prescribing or administration. Dr. Hein-Peters graduated from the Medical University in Wroclaw, Poland, where she also completed her residency in clinical psychiatry in the Psychiatric Teaching Hospital. She specialized in general psychiatry and was a part time consultant for patients suffering from mental disorders related to AIDS.

After the residency, Dr. Hein-Peters joined the pharmaceutical industry to focus on introducing innovative treatments, with the goal of improving patient symptoms and eliminating diseases. She worked in several therapy areas, such as:

  • Psychiatry, to improve diagnosis of anxiety and depression through medical education and introducing novel, safer therapies.
  • Ophthalmology, to reduce the incidence of glaucoma-related blindness through proper treatment and screening.

  • Vaccines, to prevent wide-spread or serious infectious diseases (e.g., cervical cancer caused by human papilloma virus, meningitis, dengue hemorrhagic fever, diphtheria, polio, hepatitis, tetanus, pertussis and recently COVID-19).
  • Oncology, to improve outcomes of women suffering from treatment refractory breast cancer and support development of novel immunotherapies.

Dr. Jesse Houghton earned his medical degree from New Jersey Medical School (Now Rutgers Medical School) in 2002. In subsequent years he has held leadership positions in the Department of Homeland Security, including Deputy Chief Medical Officer in the Office of Health Affairs of DHS and Senior Science Advisor in the FEMA National Exercise Division. He has been at the forefront of the advancement of technology in medicine, recently serving as Chief Medical Officer of SOC Telemed, a large national acute care telemedicine provider. He is currently advising the government on technology and response issues related to COVID-19. Throughout the years, he has continued to maintain his active clinical practice and patient care focus at Inova Fairfax Hospital, a major teaching hospital and Level 1 Trauma Center in Falls Church, VA.

In addition to his bedside clinical practice, Dr. Jolly previously provided medical emergency preparedness guidance to the National Football League for eleven Super Bowls. He also continues to provide telemedicine support to the medical services in Yellowstone National Park during the summer season.
