There’s always a chance that regardless of the treatment that has been given, fibroids can come back in the future. The only way to definitively treat them is by a hysterectomy. However, this is for women who may not want to have children in the future. Follow-ups with your gynecologist is important to ensure that they can follow your symptoms, to make sure they can offer any other treatment options that can help determine how do you feel with fibroids in the future. So again, fibroids may not be able to be eliminated completely, by speaking to your doctor to talk about your treatment options, that can be very helpful.
