6 Tips for Summer Legs

With summer here, we are thinking of those beautiful floral dresses or those shorts with that cute top and of course, our legs will be the center of attention. Here are some tips to make them look softer, smoother, and tanned.

1. Exfoliate:

Exfoliating with a scrub is especially beneficial before shaving so that the hair is lifted at the root before it meets your razor. Removing dead skin first through a process of exfoliation will not only ensure the hair follicle is in the best condition for hair removal but will also help allow for normal growth post-shave.

2. Moisturize

You probably already use a moisturizer for your body in your daily routine You can moisturize your legs naturally applying the moisturizer liberally to damp skin after a bath and let it soak in. Some of the natural moisturizers are sunflower seed oil, coconut oil, oatmeal bath, drinking milk, honey, Petroleum jelly, aloe vera. You can also look for a cream that contains an Alpha-Hydroxy-Acid ( glycolic or lactic acid on the label) that will help to resurface the skin and will hydrate it too, leaving you with naturally glowing skin. Another option is to invest in a quality moisturizer that contains skin-tightening properties.

3. Tone

Incorporate a 10 min lower body workout that includes bodyweight to sculpt and tone your legs. Think of air Squats, glute Bridges, traveling Side Lunges, scissor Kicks, walking Lunges, heel Raises or Walking, swimming, cycling, yoga, squats, and running. These are some of the easiest and most effective ways to keep your legs toned and fit.

4. Shave

To get the best results, always shave against the direction of your hair growth. Change your blade regularly to ensure that it will cut the hair right at the root and have a longer-lasting shaving while preventing skin irritation. it will cut the hair Unless you have a razor that can shave in both directions in which case you can go either way.

5. Color Dab

A sunless tan is safe for your skin and will complement the warm summer vibes of your wardrobe. Consider a gradual tanner to use daily to get that healthy glow.
