I am passionate about making healthcare better. I worry that the system that has evolved in the US sometimes puts patients last. My strategy is to start with the patient and let all of the other details follow. The principles I use to improve outcomes include: being data/guideline driven, being up-to-date on the latest research and surgical techniques, building strong teams, communicating often and well, educating, and strive to create the experience we all would want as patients.
