Stephen Lewellis, MD, PhD, FAAD

Stephen Lewellis, MD, PhD, FAAD, is a Stanford and NYU-trained, board-certified dermatologist with a passion for integrating conventional and functional/lifestyle medicine principles to improve health and happiness through the lens of skin, hair, and nail disease. He is the founder of Above & Beyond Dermatology, a virtual, direct care, integrative dermatology center that is on a mission to raise the standard of care by offering personalized, integrative dermatology care that goes beyond creams and 5-minute visits and recognizes the need to know and treat the whole person and identify the root cause of disease.

Dr. Lewellis specializes in helping individuals with chronic inflammatory skin diseases such as psoriasis, atopic dermatitis, hidradenitis suppurativa, and connective tissue diseases by combining cutting-edge medical treatments with sustainable lifestyle changes to produce a holistic and lasting transformation. He lives in Wausau, WI with his wife, Julia, their children, Stellan & Maia, and a Puerto Rican street dog (Sato) named Pippa.
