Dr. Joseph completed medical school and orthopedic training at Christian Medical College in Punjab, India in 1979 and passed M.S. in orthopedic surgery in 1983. He worked as an orthopedic surgeon in India for three years. After that he decided to go to the United Kingdom. He did his orthopedic training there and worked as a consultant for 3 years. During this time, he passed Mch(ortho) from Liverpool University. He then came to the US and did orthopedic residency in Massachusetts General Hospital (Harvard combined orthopedic residency program) and a fellowship in orthopedic trauma at the University of Toledo. Dr. Joseph is certified by the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada in orthopedic surgery as well. He has been working in the USA as an orthopedic surgeon for the last 21 years and earned his MBA from University of Tennessee in Knoxville.
Having completed residency and practiced orthopedic surgery in the USA, UK, and India, Dr. Joseph has valuable insight regarding orthopedic practice across three different continents and three different systems of medical practice.
