Yunus Emre Tarhan, MD

Dr Yunus Emre Tarhan graduated from the Istanbul University Cerrahpasa School of Medicine in 2014 and started Postdoctoral training at the University of Chicago where he published novel studies in the field of cancer immunology and protein glycosylation. Following his graduate training; He completed Internal Medicine training at the Mass General Salem Hospital in 2020. He committed himself as a full-time Oncology Hospitalist at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center for 1 year where he served for the cancer patients. He is now working as a Teaching Faculty at Mass General Salem Hospital.

Dr Tarhan is dedicated to educating the patients, the public, medical students, residents and colleagues. He is actively leading the Operations Council where he is responsible to inform, advise and collaborate with the Division of Hospital Medicine leadership to oversee clinical operations. He is an active member of Society of Hospital Medicine and its Leadership Academy.
