Surgery, if indicated and done, usually requires minimal recovery of a couple of weeks to six to eight weeks, depending on the extent of the surgery. After treatment, patients have to be carefully monitored every few months for any signs of recurrence. Vaginal cancer can be cured. Early diagnosis can lead to this curative treatment. Please, get gynecologic examinations done.
