The Night Shift app is useful for anyone who likes to fall asleep to screens, as it provides a filter of warmlight that prevents eye strain caused by the blue wavelength from screens. The blue wavelength can disrupt your sleep cycle and lead to insomnia and/or migraines, so the app can provide a wide range of benefits to users.
Night Shift offers 5 bluelight filters to choose from with warmlight and editable night modes for the best eye care. It also offers customization tools to better control temperature and color to relieve migraines from screen light. You can set your device to an automatic schedule to turn on the filters according to your schedule while using less power than the traditional bluelight.

The bluelight filters from Night Shift are anti glare, flux filters that use night mode and warmlight to protect your eyes from harmful blue rays. These rays can create problems such as insomnia, glaucoma, and migraines. You can save and edit the night mode filters, and even dim below your devices preset minimums, to protect your circadian rhythm, sleep cycle, and natural production of melatonin.
Users can customize the red, green, and blue light (known as RGB) along with color intensity, tint and dimness. You can even control the temperature palate to use warm red light colors as a flux filter for bluelight and reduce the likelihood of eye strain, chronic, migraine, and insomnia.
Set Night Shift to an automatic schedule that will change the harsh bluelight into your warmlight filter and night mode to best fit your schedule. It’s recommended to not leave bluelight on after twilight for an optimal sleep schedule, eye care, and migraine prevention. The app even reduces the power usage while employed so you don’t have to power about your battery life.

Using Night Shift has really increased my quality of sleep, making me more relaxed and calm during the day.
I used to toss and turn all night and wake up every 1-2 hours. After I started using Night Shift I started being able to sleep through the night.
At first it was hard to get used to the interface of the app.
Night shift puts on filters to protect your eyes from blue light which apparently isn't great for us... I like that you can set up a schedule and the app will go on for a time that you choose. Very important especially when we use our phones all day!
