Transcript

For both hip and knee replacement, we use spinal or epidural anesthesia, which is a small needle in the back and makes you numb from the waist down. This allows us to give you less pain medications, as well as less general anesthesia during the surgery itself, which enhances your ability to recovery after surgery, allowing you to wake up more refreshed and without the feelings of the fogginess of general anesthesia.
