It is important that you see your physician at least every six months to a year. Follow your physician’s asthma action plan for the guidance of your asthma treatment. Keep track of how often you need your quick relief medication and call your physician if your need has increased. Preventing upper respiratory infections is also important. You should continue your regular vaccinations, including your annual influenza vaccine, pneumonia vaccine, and the COVID-19 vaccine as recommended.
