Most insurances that I’ve encountered have approved AFib therapy and they’ve approved ablation therapy. Medications are a little bit different. Most insurance companies will approve warfarin as an anticoagulant, but some of the newer anticoagulants may not be approved by an insurance company because they’re newer and they’re a little bit more expensive. So we should have a conversation with the insurance company to find out which medications are covered under your plan.
