Transcript

Other variants of brachial plexus injury can be syndromes like the thoracic outlet syndrome, where the space the nerves pass through in the neck that go to the arm can be more narrow than typical. This can come from a hypertrophy or overgrowth of the muscles with patients who work with their arms over their head or swimmers who really develop these muscles until discomfort and pain develops in the arm and into the hand.
