Transcript

Different portions of the spinal cord convey movements to different parts of the body. The cervical spinal cord conveys information to the arms, providing both movement and sensation from the arms. The thoracic spinal cord, to the thorax. When we get to the portion of the lumbar and sacral spinal cord, this conveys information to the legs and feet and provides the ability to walk, stand and feel the lower extremities.
