My name is Dr. Chhavi Gandhi. I’m a board certified adult and pediatric allergist and immunologist. I treat allergic, asthmatic and immunologic conditions. I’m well versed in allergy testing, oral challenges of foods, medications, allergy shots, asthma breathing tests, including pulmonary function testing and FeNO testing. I’ve been working in the Chicago suburbs since 2009. I’m an Illinois native and a graduate of the University of Illinois, Urbana-Champaign, and Rush Medical College. I completed my internal medicine residency, chief residency and allergy and immunology fellowship at the University of California, San Diego. I’m a past president of the Illinois Society of Allergy, Asthma and Immunology. I have published peer reviewed articles, including those found in the prestigious New England Journal of Medicine and have co-authored a Northwestern university-affiliated allergy and immunology textbook chapter. I love to spend time with my family, travel when it’s safe, cook, organize, and decorate. My passion for health comes from a deep belief that good health is the key to a great quality of life. My interest in allergy and immunology was sparked in childhood as a patient who benefited from all that my field has to offer.
