It’s important to follow up with your physicians – your primary care physician and your cardiologist – as prescribed, meaning as they would like you to. Now, it can vary from patient to patient based on your symptoms, especially for example, if you’re having chest pain more frequently, it may be important to follow up more frequently. If your pain is controlled and your symptoms are controlled, then you can probably follow-up with less frequency over time. Your medication and follow-up can be adjusted accordingly.
