One of the most common complication is a heart attack that can happen at any time. And it can happen to patients who have no warning. So it’s important to pay attention to these signs and symptoms that have been mentioned and to seek attention immediately. Heart failure can develop in patients that have severe blockages or extensive damage to the muscle of the heart. Shock may be a complication in patients where there’s a active heart attack, where there’s more than 40% damage to the muscle of the heart. And in this situation, the heart is not able to pump effectively the blood to the tissues, and the tissues start to suffer with injury.
