Depression – Seasonal Affective Disorder

February 28, 2022

Another type of depression is one which varies from season to season. Formally, we would refer to this as Seasonal Affective Disorder, where people, for example, in the winter months when the days get shorter would experience intense symptoms of depression. But then as the days become longer, the sun comes out again in the spring and the summer, the symptoms might remit and the treatment for that might also be a little bit different in some instances than other types of depression.
