- Are you a Doctor?
If you are going to a provider for evaluation, you may want to bring a few things. First, think about your history of your menstrual cycles and what you experienced with them, how long they last, when you have pain and how long the pain lasts, does anything help make your pain better or worse? And, or do you have pain with sexual relations? Are you sexually active? Have you been trying to get pregnant? If so, for how long? Do you have a family history of endometriosis and, or, do you have any irregularities in your cycle? Have you ever had an ultrasound? Have you ever had surgery? And just coming with a good history and being prepared to answer those questions for your provider is utmost benefit.
