Epilepsy – Surgery

There are always those for whom medication does not control their seizures. These patients may require surgery to remove the abnormal brain tissue responsible for causing the seizures. Patients who may benefit from brain surgery are always evaluated at specialized epilepsy centers where a multidisciplinary team of doctors will make sure there is a good chance the surgery will stop seizures without causing any deficits or problems.
