There are three main types. Female sexual interest and arousal disorder, also referred to as hypoactive sexual desire disorder, orgasmic disorder, and genito-pelvic pain / penetration disorder. Female sexual interest arousal disorder is the most common type of female sexual dysfunction and is associated with a decrease or absence or desire for sexual activity or sexual fantasies that cause distress or relationship difficulties.
